 ***Our program staff is over 90% female, and all administrative and management positions are held by women. Our Board of Directors is 60% female and our philosophy for mentoring those we hire is reflected in the upward mobility opportunities given to our employees.****
Program Evaluation:

 OSH utilizes the Outcome-Based Evaluation Module which is monitored by the City of Tacoma and the Twice a year this process evaluates program outcomes and activities. The feedback given through this process assists us in developing and revising program services and activities that will prevent recidivism and enhance the success and safety of our clients.

 OSH Grants to Encourage Arrest Project- Funded by Vendor Grant with Pierce County thru OJP/VAWO- Provides Advocates to the Crystal Judson Family Justice Center. The advocates assist with Protection Orders, crisis intervention and safety planning.


New Directions-  This   is an interactive family violence prevention program that provides youth and their families who have experienced teen initiated domestic violence. The program follows a specifically designed curriculum that focuses on the issues of anger management, conflict resolution, effective communication and family management.

Stepping Stones- This is a psycho-educational support group program for children ages 6-11 years old who have witnessed domestic violence between their parents. The program is modeled after Kids Club and offers a separate support group component for the Moms.

Domestic Violence Advocacy-- Contracted through DSHS to provide community domestic violence advocacy to women and her children who come into the Community Service Offices (CSO).
