Our Sisters' House

This program is supported by the Avon Foundation Empowerment Self-Sufficiency Grant, and provides the missing piece for many women - the key to long term success in order to create a better life for economic self-sufficiency in the future.

The program is designed to assist individuals seeking education, employment, and financial independence, as they prepare to lead a life of self-sufficiency.

The program provides assistance with:

• Financial Literacy & Budget
• Planning Education
• Learning the importance of becoming financially secure,  and the tools needed to establish a budget that works for you and your family.
• Job Search/Job Training
• Work one-on-one with the coordinator to help prepare you for success in the work field.

Who is eligible? 

• Individuals with a sincere desire to become self-sufficient. 
• Individuals seeking long-term employment
• Individuals seeking educational or vocational opportunities

What the programs provides

• Guidance  in finding resources for training and educational and vocational opportunities
• Assistance in establishing short and long term goals
